The Problem

In order to follow the social distancing regulations which have been imposed by the governments as a way of helping to flatten the curve of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic outbreak, many businesses have had to adapt their operations with the aim of keeping both their employees and customers safe while making an effort to limit the spread of the virus.

As a response to this emerging crisis, many businesses are now required to apply a set of new safety measures some of which include controlling the number of people entering their premises at any one time. Many businesses have responded by having a member of personnel at their entrance managing the customer traffic and footfall within their buildings.

Our Solution

At GR Security we have an Automated Occupancy Control system which provides a more cost-effective and efficient way of controlling how many people are allowed within your premises at any one time, helping you abide by the new safety regulations amid the global pandemic.

  • Count real-time occupancy in your building
  • Automated display at your entrance to control incoming traffic
  • Alert staff if capacity limit is breached
  • Quick and fast implementation

Our over head counter and screen will inform your customers or visitors at the entrance as to how many people are already inside and when they are allowed to enter making it easier for your business to maintain a safer environment and help reduce queue times.

The system will allow you to set a predetermined threshold on the number of people occupying a certain space and ensure that members of staff keep track of the occupancy levels with a live dashboard. A member of staff will be alerted in the case of a capacity limit breach so that they can take timely action in order to control the number of people within your premises.

Given that social distancing and our need for controlling the number of people entering our premises at any one time is likely to be with us for the near future, Automated Occupancy Control systems will be able to put manager’s minds at ease knowing that the welfare of their employees and customers is protected during the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic outbreak.

Since we have installed the Occupancy control system , our ability to deal with social distancing due to covid 19 has be made a lot easier. Customers have adjusted very easily to the traffic light system at the door and in doing so have reduced our staffing costs by not having a colleague monitor the door.
